Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Cistophorus (Silver, 26 mm, 11.86 g, 12 h), Ephesus, circa 25-20 BC. IMP•CAESAR Bare head of Augustus to right. Rev. AVGVSTVS Six grain ears tied together. RIC 481. RPC I 2214. Sutherland Group VI. Beautifully toned and with a lovely portrait. Good very fine.
